PaDoc: Layout-Grounded Parallel Decoding for Document Parsing

End-to-end document parsers provide a unified interface, but serialize page layouts and regional contents into one autoregressive sequence. This formulation forces independent regions onto a decoding path whose length grows with the total content, whereas crop-based two-stage parsers expose region-level parallelism at the cost of repeated visual prefills and fragmented page context. To retain full-page context while removing dependencies, we propose PaDoc, a layout-grounded parser that treats the predicted layout as a branching structure over a shared page representation. Under a region-sufficiency assumption, we derive a prefix-conditioned factorization in which the layout stream and regional content branches advance concurrently, reducing the decoding depth to the longest layout-content path. We realize this factorization within a single MLLM: packed variable-length ancestor attention preserves the visibility under standard next-token training, while masked parallel decoding creates branches that the evaluated vLLM backend serves as concurrent requests with cache-resident shared-prefix reuse. On OmniDocBench Full, PaDoc attains an Overall layout F1 of 91.1 and, among end-to-end parsers, a top-tier Overall score of 94.24 together with the best Text Edit (0.038) and Formula CDM (95.59). On a 384-page subset and one A800 GPU, it is the fastest end-to-end parser at five concurrency levels, improving valid-page throughput by 67.4-118% and reducing P95 latency by 39.2-54.9% relative to a same-backbone Sequential SFT baseline. FilmWorld: Agentic Novel-to-Film Generation through Dynamic Cinematic World Modeling

Translating novels into films poses a grand challenge for generative artificial intelligence, requiring conversion of abstract literary prose into long-form, multi-scene visual narratives. While current video generation models excel at short, single-scene clips within narrow temporal and spatial contexts, novel-to-film generation operates in a more complex regime, demanding long-duration content across diverse scenes with dynamically evolving entity states. To address this, we formalize novel-to-film generation as dynamic cinematic world modeling, decomposed into two phases: construction, which grounds abstract, underspecified literary narratives into concrete, stateful, and persistent world entities; and evolution, which governs how these entities dynamically update under plot progression to maintain causal consistency across scenes. We propose FilmWorld, an end-to-end agentic system where two groups of specialized agents collaborate to instantiate these phases. Construction-side agents perform narrative structured translation, world entity state modeling with visual anchoring, and state-driven shot planning, progressively projecting literary language into a cinematic blueprint. Evolution-side agents perform state-anchored visual generation, cross-shot dynamic state propagation, and closed-loop state verification to maintain causal consistency and visual coherence. To address the evaluation gap in long-form generation, we introduce FilmEval, a systematic evaluation framework that couples a difficulty-graded benchmark of 15 representative novels with an automated protocol of nine objective metrics spanning three dimensions: cinematic presentation, film consistency, and novel fidelity. Experiments demonstrate that FilmWorld consistently outperforms state-of-the-art video generation agent systems, with particularly pronounced improvements in narrative fidelity and cross-scene consistency.

Cognitive-structured Multimodal Agent for Multimodal Understanding, Generation, and Editing

Recent unified multimodal models show a single architecture can jointly perform vision/language understanding and image generation/editing. However, they repeatedly feed all historical visual and textual inputs into a shared context window, limiting long-horizon multimodal dialogue due to visual token explosion and unreliable cross-turn referencing. We propose a Cognitive-structured Multimodal Agent that externalizes visual information into an Episodic Visual Memory and selectively reactivates relevant episodes during reasoning. The agent consists of a Perceptual Abstraction Engine for structured visual abstraction, a Cognitive Retrieval Engine for cross-turn memory retrieval, and a Multimodal Executive Controller for autonomous task inference and action planning. To address the lack of turn-level retrieval supervision in existing datasets, we develop a Unified Scenario Engine that programmatically generates structured multi-turn conversations with fine-grained retrieval annotations, enabling reinforcement learning to optimize abstraction and retrieval policies. We also construct a long-horizon visual-dialogue benchmark stratified by difficulty to evaluate episodic visual recall. Our 8B agent achieves 91.4% retrieval accuracy over 20-turn sessions, surpassing 32B baselines by +8.2% while nearly halving per-turn inference time (23.1s -> 12.7s). We further present the Cognitive-structured Multimodal Agent Harness (CMA-Harness), a tool-augmented deployment of the same cognitive structure integrating persistent multimodal memory, web access, image generation/editing/composition tools, and OpenAI-compatible serving. Structured memory and modular decision-making offer a more scalable, efficient paradigm for long-horizon multimodal agents than monolithic parameter scaling. Audio-Omni: Extending Multi-modal Understanding to Versatile Audio Generation and Editing

Recent progress in multimodal models has spurred rapid advances in audio understanding, generation, and editing. However, these capabilities are typically addressed by specialized models, leaving the development of a truly unified framework that can seamlessly integrate all three tasks underexplored. While some pioneering works have explored unifying audio understanding and generation, they often remain confined to specific domains. To address this, we introduce Audio-Omni, the first end-to-end framework to unify generation and editing across general sound, music, and speech domains, with integrated multi-modal understanding capabilities. Our architecture synergizes a frozen Multimodal Large Language Model for high-level reasoning with a trainable Diffusion Transformer for high-fidelity synthesis. To overcome the critical data scarcity in audio editing, we construct AudioEdit, a new large-scale dataset comprising over one million meticulously curated editing pairs. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Audio-Omni achieves state-of-the-art performance across a suite of benchmarks, outperforming prior unified approaches while achieving performance on par with or superior to specialized expert models. Beyond its core capabilities, Audio-Omni exhibits remarkable inherited capabilities, including knowledge-augmented reasoning generation, in-context generation, and zero-shot cross-lingual control for audio generation, highlighting a promising direction toward universal generative audio intelligence. The code, model, and dataset will be publicly released on https://zeyuet.github.io/Audio-Omni.
