SPARGen: Unifying Spatial Perception and Reasoning through Native Multimodal Generation

Spatial perception and reasoning from visual observations require recovering geometric structure, establishing correspondences, and understanding spatial relations. Existing approaches typically address these capabilities separately using task-specific architectures or external geometric modules, limiting knowledge transfer among complementary representations of the same physical scene. We introduce SPARGen, a unified multimodal framework that casts 3D reconstruction, dense correspondence, and spatial reasoning as instruction-conditioned generation tasks. SPARGen serializes compact structured and linguistic outputs as token sequences while generating dense geometric fields in image-aligned forms, enabling spatial supervision to jointly shape shared representations within a native multimodal generative model. Experiments across benchmarks for 3D reconstruction, correspondence, and spatial reasoning show that SPARGen achieves competitive performance across heterogeneous spatial tasks within a single native multimodal generative framework.

PromptPath: Prompt-Adaptive Computational Pathways for In-Context Learning

In-context learning (ICL) has attracted increasing attention for enabling models to perform new tasks using only a few ``input--output'' prompt examples. However, existing approaches suffer from \textbf{shallow task adaptation}, where prompts are primarily used as contextual cues to implicitly infer task intent through semantic representations, while the underlying computational process remains unchanged. This limitation restricts task-specific adaptation and compromises inference interpretability. We argue that prompts should not only condition feature representations but also dynamically regulate the model's computation pathways. To this end, we propose \textbf{PromptPath}, an adaptive ICL framework that enables computation-level adaptation through prompt-conditioned dynamic pathways. Specifically, PromptPath introduces a prompt-driven routing mechanism to selectively activate and compose lightweight low-rank experts, forming task-specific computational pathways tailored to different prompts. By integrating prompt information directly into the inference process, PromptPath dynamically reconfigures model computation to enhance task specialization and interpretability. Extensive experiments on 3D point cloud and 2D visual recognition benchmarks demonstrate that PromptPath consistently outperforms state-of-the-art ICL baselines while exhibiting strong cross-domain and cross-task generalization.

IAD-Unify: A Region-Grounded Unified Model for Industrial Anomaly Segmentation, Understanding, and Generation

Real-world industrial inspection requires not only localizing defects, but also explaining them in natural language and generating controlled defect edits. However, existing approaches fail to jointly support all three capabilities within a unified framework and evaluation protocol. We propose IAD-Unify, a dual-encoder unified framework in which a frozen DINOv2-based region expert supplies precise anomaly evidence to a shared Qwen3.5-4B vision-language backbone via lightweight token injection, jointly enabling anomaly segmentation, region-grounded understanding, and mask-guided generation. To enable unified evaluation, we further construct Anomaly-56K, a comprehensive unified multi-task IAD evaluation platform, spanning 59,916 images across 24 categories and 104 defect variants. Controlled ablations yield four findings: (i) region grounding is the decisive mechanism for understanding, removing it degrades location accuracy by >76 pp; (ii) predicted-region performance closely matches oracle, confirming deployment viability; (iii) region-grounded generation achieves the best full-image fidelity and masked-region perceptual quality; and (iv) pre-initialized joint training improves understanding at negligible generation cost (-0.16 dB). IAD-Unify further achieves strong performance on the MMAD benchmark, including categories unseen during training, demonstrating robust cross-category generalization.

Uncertainty-Aware 4D Gaussian Splatting for Monocular Occluded Human Rendering

High-fidelity rendering of dynamic humans from monocular videos typically degrades catastrophically under occlusions. Existing solutions incorporate external priors-either hallucinating missing content via generative models, which induces severe temporal flickering, or imposing rigid geometric heuristics that fail to capture diverse appearances. To this end, we reformulate the task as a Maximum A Posteriori estimation problem under heteroscedastic observation noise. In this paper, we propose U-4DGS, a framework integrating a Probabilistic Deformation Network and a Joint Rasterization pipeline. This architecture renders pixel-aligned uncertainty maps that act as an adaptive gradient modulator, automatically attenuating artifacts from unreliable observations. Furthermore, to prevent geometric drift in regions lacking reliable visual cues, we enforce Confidence-Aware Regularizations, which leverage the learned uncertainty to selectively propagate spatial-temporal validity. Extensive experiments on the ZJU-MoCap and OcMotion datasets demonstrate that U-4DGS achieves state-of-the-art rendering fidelity and robustness.
