RoboReact: Agentic Skill Distillation from Generated Egocentric Videos for Generalizable Whole-Body Manipulation

Humanoid robots have the potential to perform dexterous manipulation in human environments, yet acquiring diverse and generalizable skills remains costly due to expensive hardware data collection and labor-intensive annotation. Recent advances in video generative models provide a promising opportunity to synthesize rich manipulation experiences from visual observations, but transferring such imagined behaviors into executable whole-body humanoid skills remains largely unexplored. In this work, we present RoboReact, a framework that automatically synthesizes whole-body humanoid manipulation skills from a single egocentric RGB-D observation. RoboReact generates human manipulation videos, extracts geometry-preserving interaction keyframes through depth-aware 3D reconstruction, and retargets them to high-DoF humanoid platforms while preserving hand-object interaction geometry. To bridge the gap between imagined plans and physical execution, RoboReact performs online object-centric re-grounding and leverages a vision-language model-guided refinement loop to adapt skills under geometric mismatch and execution deviations. The refined skills are executed through a whole-body controller, enabling coordinated whole-body manipulation and dexterous interaction. Experiments on real humanoid robots demonstrate that RoboReact generalizes across diverse object configurations and robustly recovers from execution disturbances without requiring teleoperation or human demonstrations. These results highlight the potential of combining generative models, vision-language reasoning, and closed-loop control for scalable humanoid skill acquisition.

Grounding Sim-to-Real Generalization in Dexterous Manipulation: An Empirical Study with Vision-Language-Action Models

Learning a generalist control policy for dexterous manipulation typically relies on large-scale datasets. Given the high cost of real-world data collection, a practical alternative is to generate synthetic data through simulation. However, the resulting synthetic data often exhibits a significant gap from real-world distributions. While many prior studies have proposed algorithms to bridge the Sim-to-Real discrepancy, there remains a lack of principled research that grounds these methods in real-world manipulation tasks, particularly their performance on generalist policies such as Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models. In this study, we empirically examine the primary determinants of Sim-to-Real generalization across four dimensions: multi-level domain randomization, photorealistic rendering, physics-realistic modeling, and reinforcement learning updates. To support this study, we design a comprehensive evaluation protocol to quantify the real-world performance of manipulation tasks. The protocol accounts for key variations in background, lighting, distractors, object types, and spatial features. Through experiments involving over 10k real-world trials, we derive critical insights into Sim-to-Real transfer. To inform and advance future studies, we release both the robotic platforms and the evaluation protocol for public access to facilitate independent verification, thereby establishing a realistic and standardized benchmark for dexterous manipulation policies.

MagicAgent: Towards Generalized Agent Planning

The evolution of Large Language Models (LLMs) from passive text processors to autonomous agents has established planning as a core component of modern intelligence. However, achieving generalized planning remains elusive, not only by the scarcity of high-quality interaction data but also by inherent conflicts across heterogeneous planning tasks. These challenges result in models that excel at isolated tasks yet struggle to generalize, while existing multi-task training attempts suffer from gradient interference. In this paper, we present \textbf{MagicAgent}, a series of foundation models specifically designed for generalized agent planning. We introduce a lightweight and scalable synthetic data framework that generates high-quality trajectories across diverse planning tasks, including hierarchical task decomposition, tool-augmented planning, multi-constraint scheduling, procedural logic orchestration, and long-horizon tool execution. To mitigate training conflicts, we propose a two-stage training paradigm comprising supervised fine-tuning followed by multi-objective reinforcement learning over both static datasets and dynamic environments. Empirical results demonstrate that MagicAgent-32B and MagicAgent-30B-A3B deliver superior performance, achieving accuracies of $75.1\%$ on Worfbench, $55.9\%$ on NaturalPlan, $57.5\%$ on $τ^2$-Bench, $86.9\%$ on BFCL-v3, and $81.2\%$ on ACEBench, as well as strong results on our in-house MagicEval benchmarks. These results substantially outperform existing sub-100B models and even surpass leading closed-source models.
