EgoPlay: Event-Triggered Video Editing for Egocentric Streams
We introduce EgoPlay, an event-triggered video-to-video editor for egocentric streams, obtained by fine-tuning a pretrained V2V diffusion transformer on event-conditioned data built primarily from Ego4D. Given a monocular video and an event-triggered prompt of the form "when X happens, do Y," EgoPlay infers whether and when event X occurs, preserves pre-event frames, and applies edit Y only to the post-event continuation. Rather than cascading a separate event detector with an editor, EgoPlay learns event recognition, temporal restraint, and pixel-level editing jointly in a single end-to-end model, while also handling negative and multi-event prompts. To support this, we construct a large-scale dataset of 106K event-triggered clip-prompt pairs spanning positive triggers, fabricated-trigger negatives, and multi-event prompts. We then train a bidirectional video diffusion editor with event-triggered supervision and derive a causal variant for chunk-by-chunk streamable inference. We further introduce an event-aware evaluation protocol that separately measures post-trigger editing quality, pre-trigger preservation, and false-trigger robustness. On the Ego4D benchmark, EgoPlay substantially outperforms EgoEdit, the state-of-the-art instruction-based egocentric video editing baseline, with relative gains of 17.7%, 16.9%, and 16.4% in editing quality, visual quality, and background consistency. It also surpasses a VLM-guided detector-editor baseline by 15.7%, 14.5%, and 13.5% on the same metrics, while using less than half the GPU memory.
Architect-Ant: Editable Automatic Furnishing of Architectural Floor Plans
Furnished floor plans are fundamental to real estate visualization, interior design, and architectural workflows. However, progress in automatic furniture arrangement has been limited by the lack of real, professionally designed floor-plan datasets with object-level furniture annotations. To address this gap, we introduce AntPlan-270, a curated dataset of 270 architectural floor plans with per-room furniture bounding box annotations across ten residential room categories. Building on this dataset, we present Architect-Ant, an editable automatic furnishing framework powered by a fine-tuned vision-language model. Furniture layouts are represented using a compact, coordinate-based domain-specific language (DSL) that encodes object categories and placements relative to the room geometry. To improve spatial reasoning, we generate procedural reasoning traces that capture architectural constraints such as wall alignment, door and window clearance, circulation, fixture compatibility, and room-specific furniture inventories, and use them to supervise fine-tuning of the model. We then apply preference optimization over candidate object placements to further refine layout quality. The generated DSL can be rasterized into semantic masks and used to condition a Flux-based LoRA renderer, producing realistic blueprint-style furnished floor-plan images while preserving the editable symbolic layout. Experiments on layout furnishing show that Architect-Ant produces geometrically valid and functionally plausible layouts, and suggest a scalable path for furnishing larger structure-only floor-plan datasets.
OMEGA-Avatar: One-shot Modeling of 360° Gaussian Avatars
Creating high-fidelity, animatable 3D avatars from a single image remains a formidable challenge. We identified three desirable attributes of avatar generation: 1) the method should be feed-forward, 2) model a 360° full-head, and 3) should be animation-ready. However, current work addresses only two of the three points simultaneously. To address these limitations, we propose OMEGA-Avatar, the first feed-forward framework that simultaneously generates a generalizable, 360°-complete, and animatable 3D Gaussian head from a single image. Starting from a feed-forward and animatable framework, we address the 360° full-head avatar generation problem with two novel components. First, to overcome poor hair modeling in full-head avatar generation, we introduce a semantic-aware mesh deformation module that integrates multi-view normals to optimize a FLAME head with hair while preserving its topology structure. Second, to enable effective feed-forward decoding of full-head features, we propose a multi-view feature splatting module that constructs a shared canonical UV representation from features across multiple views through differentiable bilinear splatting, hierarchical UV mapping, and visibility-aware fusion. This approach preserves both global structural coherence and local high-frequency details across all viewpoints, ensuring 360° consistency without per-instance optimization. Extensive experiments demonstrate that OMEGA-Avatar achieves state-of-the-art performance, significantly outperforming existing baselines in 360° full-head completeness while robustly preserving identity across different viewpoints.
